Restaurant with terrace in the city centre offering a rich cuisine
Without a doubt, this restaurant is an unusual address! Located in the city centre, a stone's throw from the port, it willingly displays its difference with its resolutely kitsch decoration. We don't just come to taste Hortense's rich cuisine, we gather here to have a drink with friends and remake the world. An offbeat atmosphere that does not prevent Chez Hortense from also being a place where people eat very well. And if the decoration really hurts your eyes too much, don't worry, the terrace will probably have your favours, you can also see the boats. The bistro, nestled in an alleyway along the Coursive, is also a good option for dinner after a show.

Soupe à l'oignon insignifiante servie dans une une grande soupière pour tous (mais eh, pas de rab, pas folle la guêpe). Une misérable pièce du boucher servie sans imagination après 30 minutes d'attente. Une assiette de fromage lamentable avec du brie exécrable.
Un service avec la gouaille, et "allez coupez votre pain vous même ! il est là, sur le bord de la fenêtre !!" Moui…
Encore une fois, j'aime bien la cuisine comme à la maison, mais avec le sourire, sans se faire rabrouer à tout bout de champ, et pas à 50€/personne la note finale.
Au prétexte de la familiarité, on se fait bien avoir.
EDIT en réponse à l’établissement : effectivement ma venue date d’il y a bien six ou sept ans. Mon commentaire était resté dans les brouillons et je n’ai fait que finaliser sa publication. Comme la soirée que nous avons passé chez vous est un très mauvais souvenir je n’ai pas souhaité le retirer. Mais tant mieux si vous avez changé depuis.
