THE CLUZELET WINDMILL
Mill located on the hillside on the right bank of the Seugne, built near the water mill in the century
Set on a hill overlooking the Seugne valley, this windmill stands opposite the Antilles water park. An integral part of Jonzac's heritage, it was built in 1740, under the reign of Louis XV. After a period of neglect, the Moulin du Cluzelet was restored in 2001. Today, it is one of the few windmills in France still producing flour. It is open to visitors, and the miller, in full regalia, gives a flour-grinding demonstration.
