The city, praised for its Belle Epoque architecture, has preserved its soul. What a pleasure to stroll along the beach, enjoying the sea spray and the casino. You can also get closer to the covered market and take the time to sip a coffee or stroll through the bookshop.

Châtelaillon plage est situé à côte de La Rochelle. Très belle station balnéaire qu'on redécouvre en Hiver.

Châtelaillon-Plage est aux portes de la Rochelle,C'est une Station balnéaire familiale.
une plage de sable fin de 3 kms avec vue sur Fort Boyard et l’île d’Aix, une petite ville à l’architecture Belle époque préservée à quelques kilomètres de la Rochelle.
De nombreux restaurants et un casino le long de la plage.
Pour profiter de la baignade il faut se procurer un horaire des marées car on ne peut pas se baigner à n'importe quelle heure !

Châtelaillon est connu pour sa plage qui fait un peu plus de 3 kilomètres. Il y a donc de la place mais en été elle peut vite se remplir. Pour se répérer, les noms des rues sont affichées au sol avant les portillons et la plage est découpée avec des totems d'animaux (panda, perroquet, dauphin, ...). La promenade le long de la plage est agréable et on peut y voir au loin, l'ile d'Aix, Fort Boyard, le Fort Enet ou encore l'Ile d'Oléron.
