DEPARTMENTAL FOREST OF BENON

With a surface area of 3,300 hectares - 130 of which are accessible - the Benon forest is one of the lungs of the Charente-Maritime region. Classified as a sensitive natural area, it features marked hiking trails (a 1 km or 2.5 km circuit) and picnic areas. You can stroll here in summer, enjoying the shade of the oak and maple trees, and return in autumn to find mushrooms. Whatever the season, this area offers a real sense of escape!
