This "fruity delight" is well worth the detour (30 min from Bayonne)! Nathalie and Jacques are strawberry growers and harvesters: several varieties - Mariguette, Charlotte... strawberry-pineapple and strawberry-raspberry (more short-lived) - are grown here in greenhouses, using sustainable farming methods, and picked daily by hand when fully ripe; no refrigerator, just direct tasting, in season, from May to October. As you can see, we're dealing with top-quality craftsmanship, a far cry from industrial production.
