FRANÇOIS IER PARK

François 1 ^er park is a site classified since 1943. With an area of 48 hectares, it is by its design a pleasant place of visit for the whole family. The project is constantly being developed, creating a forest pond or setting up a signpost. The park is free of charge during the opening hours of the city hall, depending on availability. Group tours can also be organized outside the opening hours of the city hall at the rate of 1 € per person. In the program of visits: site history and discovery of the biodiversity, fauna and flora of François 1 ^er park. To visit also, just across the Charente, the wood of the Portal of an area of 23 hectares, free access.
