The Romanesque facade of the 12th century of this church stands out from those of other buildings
The 12th century Romanesque facade of this church stands out from those of other buildings that you will see in abundance in the Charente. Indeed, 300 years after its construction, this facade has been pierced in order to integrate a large rose window for an astonishing result and mix of styles, to say the least. Also note that the portal is decorated with zodiac signs.

Très belle église relativement simple mais très bien entretenue. Elle est située en plein centre dans une zone piétonnière, et juxtaposant des habitations de Cognac, elle se mêle bien au paysage. Elle est aussi belle de l'intérieur que de l'extérieur (très beaux vitraux). Très belle par sa simplicité.

Très belle église , de l'intérieur comme de l'extérieur , un lieu de prière et de recueillement, ou je fait bruler toujours un cierge.
