Right in the center of town, opposite the statue of François 1er, L'express offers omelettes, salads, croques-monsieur, bruschettas and grilled meats, for a leisurely dinner or lunch while watching the spectacle of Cognac life. The menu is varied, with something for everyone: nibbles for the hungry, platters, formulas and hearty dishes. The wide choice of burgers, meats, omelettes and a few fish dishes allows us to go beyond the traditional brasserie classics, and it's effective.

Le cadre est bien sur la place. En revanche , le repas laisse fort à désirer. Mes tagliatelles Atlantique étaient réchauffées, dures, sèches. Les gambas recuites plusieurs fois. Et crêpe en dessert toute brûlée. A éviter

Trop d'attente. 50mn ! On est arrivé en même temps qu'un couple anglophone, on a été servi longtemps après eux sachant que notre commande portait sur le menu du jour : tarte feuilleté à l andalouse, faux filet grillé potatoes maison. Oubli de l'entrée...des frites... Très déçus!
