You will find our friendly craftsperson, Yveline Renou in her role of host because it is in the birthplace of Ludovic Trarieux - founder and first president of the French League of human rights that she lives, Yveline arranged on three guestrooms upstairs. One of them overlooks the charming square, the two others enjoy the magnificent view of the Dronne.

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end à Aubeterre. La chambre dans la maison d'hôte de Mme Renoux est très agréable, très propre et très calme avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée. Mme Renoux nous a très bien accueilli, c'est une personne charmante et très intéressante. Le petit déjeuner était parfait. La maison est située sur la place du village, où nous avons fait notre marché le dimanche matin. Mme Renoux nous a fait visiter l'espace Trarieux et nous a commenté la visite. Nous sommes repartis ressourcés. C'est une très bonne adresse. Nous reviendrons sûrement. A noter également le restaurant Le cochon prieur. Cadre agréable, bon accueil et cuisine très bonne.

We return magic after 2 nights at this place. The entrance is on the lively square of the village but our (large) room gave over the valley of the Dronne: absolute quiet and a very nice view. It is a charming residence, very well maintained. The bedding is of good (we had a bed 160cm, we did not use the extra bed 90cm). The decoration is elegant without being too busy. Everything is super clean. As for madame Renou, it is really small treatments for its guests. Happy to discover its world, it is helpful, friendly and discreet. In short, we recommend!
