Halles on the site of the fortified castle
Les Halles has a long history: a fortified castle built by Louis Philippe in the 13th century, a prison in the 15th century, it was destroyed in 1887. Rebuilt by architect E. Warin on the model of Parisian halles, they were renovated in 2000.
Les Halles also has the color and scent of a local market, where you can buy fresh produce from a variety of stalls, or dine in a friendly atmosphere with local producers.
It's the story of a glass and iron market overlooking the ramparts and offering authentic products.
