THÉÂTRE D’ANGOULÊME
The theatre of Angoulême is a real pillar of the cultural life of the city. Rehabilitated in 1994 by the architects Fabre and Perrotet, the white stones of the theatre open up to the light and are dressed with a glass and steel footbridge.
Three rooms are set up in the main stage area: the large hall with a capacity of 730 seats, the odeon and the Dominique Bagouet studio. Warm with its wooden walls and comfortable red seats, the theatre leaves a pleasant feeling of conviviality and elegance. The space of the bar reflects this refinement, and can be used for a performance or reserved for a group. Every month at lunchtime an artistic performance and a snack are organized.
The program is very broad and surprisingly diverse. Classical and modern theatre, live show and concerto, drawn concerts... A must in any season.
