Museum presenting the history of the Caudron brothers, pioneers of French aeronautics, and of regional aviation in Rue.
This interesting and rather unusual little museum is located on the premises of the Rue tourist office. A vast room houses a wealth of documents (photos, films, cutaways, testimonials...) on the Caudron brothers, pioneers of French aeronautics (and local heroes), but also on the history of aviation in a more regional sense. It's an exhaustive and highly relevant approach to gaining an insight into these early heroic days and the impact of this industry on the Somme in the early 20th century. The museum is ideal for families!

Pour les curieux!
Une petite salle d'exposition,au sein de l'office du tourisme de Rue qui retrace l'histoire des frères Caudron et des début de l'aviation. Une documentation dense, beaucoup d'archives. Perso, j'ai adoré. Je le conseillerai plutôt aux curieux de l'histoire locale et aux passionnés d'aviation
