Restaurant with a panoramic view of the bay offering very refined dishes
This address is a true institution of the Crotoy, and it owes its name to the former owner, Madeleine Poncelet, known as Mado. The restaurant, which opened for the first time in 1960, was used as a set for some film shoots with its comforting colourful rooms and its walls with numerous paintings. This place is steeped in history, as the disappearance of Mado in the 1980s did not wipe out the place, far from it. And it is notably thanks to Michou, faithful to the post in the dining room, that the restaurant has survived. Not forgetting chef Wilfrid Urbaniak, who is always happy to prepare a few choice, very refined dishes for you, such as the seafood platters caught that very morning, sole meunière, royal lobster or even turbot poached in hollandaise sauce. Meat lovers are not to be outdone with tournedos and or duck in sherry vinegar. Upstairs, the panoramic view of the bay is breathtaking.

Rarement été si mal reçu dans un établissement horeca. Passez votre chemin ! Café imbuvable en poudre. Cappuccino tout aussi mauvais à 5,50€..
Bière en bouteille vendue comme bière au fut à 6€ ! Même pas fraîche. ????

Personnel arrogant.
Pas de prise de commande en terrasse.
2 thés verts servis dans des gobelets carton rempli qu’ à la moitié d’eau chaude.
Nous demandé plus d’eau chaude, le serveur a levé les yeux au ciel.
Je me suis déplacé pour remplir mes deux gobelets.
Coût de l’opération 10 € pour 2 thés.
Scène surréaliste : Un groupe de 8/10 personnes se sont attablées le serveur leur a donné une feuille et un crayon pour qu’ils prennent leur commande eux-mêmes.
Aucune considération pour les clients tables pas nettoyées.
Juste une honte.
