This is the city of Pau's must-visit parking lot, and even though it has been paying since August 2017, it remains one of the most economical solutions for parking. with 1,300 spaces available, it's one of the largest in the city. Free on Sundays, it costs just one euro per half-day, and the first half-hour is free. Ideally located, it's a short walk to nearby Place Gramont, then up Rue Louis-Barthou to the city center, where you'll find the castle and historic center. An alternative to underground parking lots without having to walk for miles to discover the city.

LE PARKING CLEMENCEAU

Built at the same time as the new Place Clemenceau in 2005, this parking lot has 391 spaces, including some for residents. Located at the foot of the Palais des Pyrénées and in the center of the old town of Pau, it offers easy access to downtown parking. It is organized into 8 parking zones, each associated with a color to make it easier to find your way around the interior. It has openings that bring in natural light, rare in underground parking lots, a green light path that indicates the direction of traffic and, for decoration, at the entrance, a sort of basin with a waterfall effect. It has an entrance on rue Gachet and an exit on rue Latapie.
