Remarkable willow and bronze statue, the interregional monument of the Resistance for Normandy and Picardy, at Fort-Mahon.
The Jericho tree is a willow that is distinguished by its strange cup-shaped appearance, from which emerge eight balanced trunks, the result of destruction by German troops during the Second World War. In front of the tree stands the Interregional Resistance Monument for Normandy and Picardy: the bronze statue represents a figure stretched out from a shroud, raising its arms outstretched in a V-shape, symbol of immortality.
