War memorial in Ault, designed in 1921 by the internationally renowned artist Paul Landowski.

Sometimes there are amazing stories. If we did not know the identity of the sculptor who delivered this war memorial to the city in 1921, we would probably not talk about it, or very little. However, it is Paul Landowski, who sculpted, among others, the famous Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, and the Sainte-Geneviève on the Pont de la Tournelle in Paris. In other words, an internationally known artist! You will find the work at the foot of the Saint-Pierre church.
