Since 1997, the reputation of the Amiens Christmas market is well established with 130 chalets and the Chroma mapping of the cathedral.
The Amiens Christmas market has been bringing the city centre to life since 1997 and its reputation is well established! You will find many animations on nearly 2 kilometers: the big wheel of 50 m in front of the SNCF station, the village of mountain and its free ice rink place Gambetta (attention, obligatory gloves!), the mapping Chroma of the cathedral, the giant fir tree rue des Trois Cailloux or the house of the Father Christmas with its mailbox, without forgetting its 130 chalets and their products of the world. An ideal outing for young and old alike!

Un des plus importants du nord de la France avec plus de 130 chalets et toutes les animations gratuites, situé dans la rue piétonne des Trois Cailloux et autour du beffroi

Joli et long marché de Noël, situé non loin de la gare. facile d'accès donc et aucun risque de se tordre les chevilles sur les pavés ! Chalets originaux peints en rouge cette année qui dégagent de délicieux parfums. Un vrai tour des saveurs, locales bien sûr mais aussi bordelaises, asiatiques et canadiennes. On peut même, en fait une 1ere pour moi sur un marché de Noël, la possibilité de déguster une "tire sur la neige", en fait une sucette de sirop d'érable chaud coulé à même la neige et enroulé sur un bâton, spécialité des "cabanes à sucre" canadiennes... grand choix de cadeaux aussi et pour toutes les bourses...

Un marché de Noël très sympathique où il est très agréable de se balader en prenant un petit vin chaud pour la route !

Le marché a été réduit du coté du beffroi pour raison de sécurité, la grande roue est revenue cette année. J'ai trouvé qu'il y avait de nouveaux commerçants, bien du choix et à tous les prix.
