Officially named "Gare du Nord", the station is actually only a few meters from the pedestrianized city center of Amiens. The three main connections are Amiens-Paris (1h05 direct), Amiens-Lille and Amiens-Rouen which serve on their routes many small Picardy villages (Poix-de-Picardie, Albert, Corbie, Ailly-sur-Noye...) which is very convenient for all those who live in the countryside and work in Amiens. To get to the Haute-Picardie TGV station, you have to take a shuttle bus from the bus station next door.

Opening time and information on GARE SNCF

Opening of the station: Monday to Saturday of 4am at 0:20 and Sunday from 5am. Opening of the counters: Monday to Thursday and Saturday of 5:50 at 7.30pm, Friday until 20:20 and Sunday and festivals of 8:10 to 20:20. Relay presses. Bakery. Snack.

J'ai toujours été bien accueillie sauf une fois par une dame qui devait etre aigrie pour me parler ainsi ! sinon j'ai toujours eu une équipe disponible et très aimable mis à part cet incident.

De gros travaux qui devaient rendre la gare plus belle n'ont pas vraiment tenu leurs promesses. Sous la verrière en été, la chaleur est insupportable.

De plus, les possibilités pour se garer sont très peu nombreuses... Mais la gare en elle même reste une belle gare (l'intérieur), avec un point Presse et une enseigne permettant d'acheter de la nourriture

The largest construction site of the city from years. A contest of architects, extended creation. And everything... for! A glass roof " jaunit" , an esplanade where you sockets cold in 30 seconds, an incredible echo. Unfortunately damage.
