Nestled between forest and river for 700 years, the Abbaye Royale du Moncel is a timeless haven of peace. From the moment you enter, the 6-hectare site invites you to contemplate its ancient buildings and lush vegetation. The chapter house, cloister and vaulted cellars provide the perfect setting for meditation. Over 60 films and TV series have been shot here. Some of the sets for films such as "Un long dimanche de fiançailles" are even recognizable. With its discreet charm, the Abbaye Royale du Moncel offers a unique interlude of calm and rejuvenation.
