The town of Ponchon allowed between 1820 and 1920 to tile mills. They are used until the second half of the th century in the Parisian kitchens, they are also found in Emile Zola's house in Médan and that of Monet in Giverny. Tiles travel to the end of the world, exported to South America. Sylvie Thémereau studied graphic arts at the Higher school of applied arts Duperré in Paris with a ceramic option. When she arrived in Ponchon, she discovered the ancient production of faïence tiles and that is how she began breeding. It also features decorative panels, porcelain pieces, other creations such as vases, bowls and plates (from 15 €). She is assisted by Caroline Sobczak who works on enamelled sandstone objects.
