History: The history of Kindy socks began in 1863 with Bonneterie Davesne, maker of bonnets, scarves, knits and socks. It was in 1966 that the company changed its name to Kindy. Inspiration comes from Kennedy, in which Mr. Davesne sees the symbol of the thirty glorious, modernity and economic and social changes. From this point of view, product distribution is oriented towards super and hypermarkets. Its production plant is located in Molinks, Picardie. Kindy socks are currently distributed under the Kindy brand, but also under the brands Achile, Thyo, Innov 'Activ. In addition, Kindy holds the Daniel Hechter licenses and the Coq Sportif. Kindy also manufactures high-end children's shoes under the GBB brand and under the Catimini license. In the summer of 2017, the company was picked up by the French company Galatée, without breaking the production or tradition of the Kindy sell in October. A bargain for employees of which 60 out of 115 were able to keep their jobs.
