Opening time and information on MOTHER-OF-PEARL AND TABLEWARE MUSEUM
Open all year round. Wednesdays to Mondays and public holidays, 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Free for children under 5. Adults: €7. Children (aged 5 to 16): €3.50. Group (20 people): €6.50. Guided tour (guided tours and demonstrations at 3pm and 4:15pm). Store. Free admission on Friday afternoons in July and August.

The Musée de la Nacre et de la Tabletterie is located in Meru, in a former 19th-century factory. Guided tours are available for individuals, groups of 20 or more , families and teachers. During your visit, you'll discover the secrets behind the manufacture of mother-of-pearl buttons, as well as a traditional domino game made of bone and ebony. The museum also has a cafeteria where you can enjoy breakfast or a snack . There isalso a store offering a wide range of objects and products related to the museum's themes. You 'll findcollections of buttons, domino sets in different materials, dice, games, small tableware and jewelry. You can also discover a selection ofmust-have books on the subject of tabletterie, the region and the themes developed by the museum, suitable for all ages.
