L'ESCAPADE

Here is a new way to discover the river Oise and its canalized part. A hybrid boat allows you to navigate silently between 7 and 13 km/h with part of the seats on the upper deck, just like in a bateau-mouche. The interest is to have another look at the typical boat towns of Longueil-Annel and Pont-l'Evêque or to see Compiègne from the river. The walking cruises last an hour and a half and are accompanied by comments on history and inland waterway transport. Special days are offered (such as the Pardon de la Batellerie or Mother's Day) and you can also choose a lively lunch cruise. New this year is the principle of a two-hour dinner cruise, with a good meal prepared by carefully selected local caterers. Departures are also available from Compiègne and Pont-l'Evêque.
