Open-air museum, preserving and conserving the region's rural heritage, with demonstrations and entertainment.
The aim of the museum is to preserve and promote the region's rural heritage. 25 buildings from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries (thatched cottages, dovecotes, forges, mills, etc.) have been rebuilt, stone by stone, in this 15-hectare green setting. The museum welcomes craftsmen (blacksmiths, a saddler, a carpenter...) for demonstrations and workshops. A medicinal garden and local animals such as the giant Flanders rabbit. A true journey back in time, this site plunges us into the heart of rural traditions of yesteryear.
