THE CHURCHES OF VILLENEUVE-D'ASCQ

Several pre-existing communes, Villeneuve-d 'Ascq, inherited several churches. San Sebastian is the oldest (XII), despite further work (especially at the level of stained glass stained glass windows); See also Saint-Pierre-d 'Ascq (xve), with its orange bricks and colorful ceramic tiles, Saint-Pierre de Flers Bourg (xvie, porch tower), whose portal combines the coat of arms of Charles Quint and the church of the Sacred Heart (xixe-xxe), with astonishingly combining an Art Deco façade and a Byzantine interior.
