This university, founded in 1854 (which has seen teachers like Louis Pasteur, Emile Borel, Pierre Bourdieu, Robert Gabillard or Vladimir Jankélévitch!), proposes 200 courses of diplômantes training in three main sectors: Science and technology (math, physics, chemistry, mechanics, biology, geology, computers, electronics…), social sciences and humanities (geography, urban, environment, ethnology…), as well as economics & management (economics, management, management, marketing…). It is also possible to follow distance training courses that are available online at any time. Furthermore, there is also a wide range of training courses available on a rotating basis.

According to him, the teachers of Lille 1 are good advice and classes are qualities. It has a good memory of its course there and is sometimes nostalgic of this period.
Me, I had to get there for oral exams assistance of instructor schools. I obviously found that the atmosphere was hung and strict but I be convinced that was due to the contest than at the university in itself.
I was lost a bit to find the sobriety but no worries, there is always a sympathetic student around a corridor that will help you find your destination.
