After several years of restoration work, the Saint-Crow Library was inaugurated in early 2011 by the Minister of Culture Frédéric Mitterrand in this magnificent cloister dating back to the th century. Officially created in 1806, this library has a rich heritage collection of over 66 000 different documents (manuscripts, printed books, ancient press titles, drawings, lithographs, maps and maps, scores, photographs, postcards) from the th to the th century. In addition to the beauty of the site (do not hesitate to browse your book in the soothing cloister garden), the library regularly organises meetings with writers, screenings of documentary films, book reading evenings and music (concerts of students at the municipal conservatory).

Flâner dans le cloître en faisant son choix parmi les journaux et magazines les plus divers dans une ambiance feutrée : un vrai bonheur ! On apprécie aussi un programme culturel riche.

J'ai toujours fait pas mal d'études en France et l'étranger et vraiment il n'y a pas photo : en Ecosse et en Angleterre, dans les bibliothèques toutes très belles et bien tenues, on y est pour lire ou pour travailler et le silence absolu et le calme sont de mises . Pour y travailler de longues heures, c'est un pur bonheur .
La bibliothèque de sainte corneille à côté , c'est un champ de foire . Tout le monde bavasse, certains même viennent comme ils étaient au café . Personne ne dit rien , tout le monde s'en fiche . Se concentrer là dedans c'est impossible .
C'est lamentable, cette bibliothèque est faite pour venir s'y distraire mais certainement pas pour y trouver un espace de tranquillité propice à la concentration . Il faut dire que les français, et pour le coup, les picards, sont très mal élevés . Si vous voulez bosser au calme, passez votre chemin car cette bibliothèque est une vraie catastrophe pour ça .
