This small pavilion supplied the "great waters" of the château, in other words the fountains, waterfalls and fountains that lavishly adorned the gardens of Le Nôtre. In the great cascades of Chantilly, the water seemed to come from everywhere; it was said that an aquatic paradise had been created here! To get to its destination, the water from the pavilion went through a 2.2 km long canal. A great deal of work by the associations has enabled the Great Waters Machine to be put back into motion. Unique, it consists of a large wheel with a diameter of 7.80 m and six pumps.

Opening time and information on MANSE HOUSE

Closed in January. Low season : open from Tuesday to Friday from 2pm to 5:30pm. High season: Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 12:30pm and from 1:30pm to 6pm. High season from May to September included. Open the 1st and 3rd weekend of the month. Free until 2 years old. Adult : 7 €. Children (from 3 to 15 years old) : 3 €. Discovery visit: 10 €/3€, Conference visit: 12€/3€, Family visit: 8€. Guided tour (on reservation at 03 44 62 01 33).
