You can discover this place through visits of about 45 minutes, which you will complete by one or two hours of walk in the park. The spot is worth a detour in this slightly lost corner 6 km from Gisors (in Normandy) and at the limit of the French Véxin. Boury's «stronghold» is mentioned in the th century. Defending the capétien kingdom against the Norman and then the English, Boury has many seats, including that of Richard Lion's Heart in 1198. The old fortress is transformed into a manor house during the Renaissance, and then the old seigneurial house and the colombier become farms. With classical regularity, the castle opens onto French gardens, stables and an orchard. Since 2013, the Castle of Boury offers a three-bedroom en suite bathroom and equipped kitchen, open all year round. The Orangerie is also available for receptions (large 150 m ² room seating 250 people in cocktail or 150 seated).

Tres belle visite fait par le propriétaire
A voir
