The station is a quarter of an hour's walk from the heart of the city. It is quite elegant with a neo-Gothic style of the 19th century. On the other hand, the building is relatively small and poor in services for a city-prefecture station. On the other hand, you will find just next door what you need in terms of catering or bike rental. It takes at least 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach the Gare du Nord and 36 minutes to Creil. It will take you at least 1h35 to get to Amiens with a connection to Creil and 1h20 to get to Compiègne, with a train change too. In both cases, use faster and cheaper coach travel. The bus station (not very welcoming but sheltered) is a few minutes walk away.

Service
very convenient that is for high school students schoolchildren or workers because the bus station is 2 pas de la tgv railway station and city centre nearby bus services it is very well located and it has bus links to the villages of proximity which is very pleasant when you are in the countryside without means of transport
