State forest with many species of hardwoods in Bouconville-Vauclair.
The state forest of Vauclair, managed by the Office National des Forêts, gathers on more than 1,000 hectares many species of hardwoods: oaks (one of which was planted at the time of Louis XIV!), beeches, ashes as well as coniferous trees such as black pine, Scots pine, spruce... Numerous hiking trails invite you to discover the richness of this forest, which can also be visited on guided tours with the Office national des forêts on Sundays. A must during your discovery of the region.
