The Marie-Louise monument is located opposite the Hurtebise farm, on the Chemin des Dames. It is here that on March 7, 1914, a commemoration was held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Craonne, won by Napoleon I. During the First World War, the farm was completely destroyed. The current monument, erected in 1927, commemorates both the soldiers of the Empire and the hairy ones of the 1914-1918 war: it consists of representations of a soldier of the Empire and a hairy one. Finally, it should be noted that "Marie-Louise" was the name given to the Emperor's young soldiers, in homage to the Empress.
