The Établissement Français du Sang ensures France's self-sufficiency in blood products by mobilizing blood donors, voluntary associations and public and private companies. The organization collects whole blood, platelets, plasma, placental blood and bone marrow for transfusion. Donations are made under the strictest hygiene and safety conditions.
