SERVICE DE L’AIDE SOCIALE AUX ADULTES

This service is provided by the Sarthe departmental council, and enables elderly people to benefit from certain home services such as meals and household help, as well as the APA (Allocation Personnalisée d'Autonomie), an allowance for people over 60 who are unable to work. The aim is to provide assistance, whether at home, in a residential home or in an institution for the elderly. A dependency assessment is carried out by a medical-social team from the General Council.
