While other establishments in Le Mans offer a dedicated hammam area, La Fontaine is the only one 100% hammam and tradition. You enter a warm room for a beneficial sweat and a complete scouring: cold water, hot water, black soap, ghassoul clay and Kessa scrubbing glove are all on the program. You can choose to strip without assistance, or opt for a scrub performed by an expert. Your ritual ends, as it should, with a mint tea.
