Cultural associations Laval

The association Lecture en Tête is a benchmark for the promotion of contemporary literature in Laval and France. Since 1992, it has organized the Festival du Premier Roman, which spotlights young literary talent. But Lecture en Tête doesn't stop there, offering meetings with authors throughout the year as part of its literary season. The association is also behind a writing residency in Mayenne and the Prix Littéraire du 2e roman. In short, Lecture en Tête provides access to the diversity of today's literature.

L'Accueil des Villes Françaises (AVF) is a volunteer association based in the city of Laval. The AVF offers friendly events for new residents and people looking for social ties, to help them discover their new surroundings and make new friends. The network operates on the principle of volunteerism, where everyone contributes their desires and passions to contribute to the well-being of all. The AVF teams will be happy to welcome and inform visitors as soon as they reopen.
