GARE SNCF DE LAVAL
Laval is so "close" in Paris with the TGV Atlantic that some Mayennais… work every day (this is not necessarily the ideal but it is possible: there are about six daily returns; count 1 h 30 to access Montparnasse station if no «person incident» is to be deplored). The other major cities served by the TGV are Lille (3 h 45, with a stop in Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle), Lyon (3 h 30, without passing through Paris), Marseille (5 h 30) and Strasbourg (4 h 50). You can also reach Brussels (5 h 15) and London (4 h 30). For people travelling to the station with their car, a 405-seat underground car park - monitored day and night - is under the square. It is available with a subscription card and parking tickets from 5 am to midnight. Internal links also allow to reach several towns and villages in the department but not in TGV: at a speed likely to make us taste the charm of green Mayenne: Château-Saved, Evron, Le Genest, Louverné, Montsûrs, Neau, Port-Brillet, Voutré.
