Since 1920, the family business Le Roy René has been delighting us with its specialties straight from the South of France, in Aix-en-Provence. Directly inspired by our Good King René, who would have received at his third wedding, according to the legend, a smile-shaped confection, commonly called today calisson, a mixture of crushed almonds, candied melon placed on a sheet of host, topped with an icing.
