The BB Plouf association is now over 30 years old! If it has changed several times a pool, it is now located in aquavita, in the learning basin specially designed for this purpose, and enjoys water at 32 ° C. As it itself defines itself, the association is not there to form champions: its role is to supervise children (from 4 months to 6 years) and parents to familiarize themselves with the aquatic environment, discover the joys of water but also exchange, learn in group, take pleasure, all respecting the rhythm of the child, its needs and desires… On derogation, the age limit may be extended to 9 years for children in disability. The association emphasizes a great deal of learning. Inscriptions are made at the reception of the aquavita center, Renee Street or Jean Bouin (on the ground floor, therefore under the entrance of the swimming pool Jean Bouin).

Angers' swimming pools offer a variety of activities to suit all tastes. Whether you want to relax with the family, learn to swim, exercise or just have fun, you're sure to find a pool to suit your needs. Among the city's five pools, AquaVita is a 5,000 m² aqualudic center offering a multitude of activities and water games. The Agostini school in Angers, run by Bruno Bordier, welcomes you in the heart of the city center. Be careful, registration, normally limited to a single course, must be done early, as places are expensive and the waiting list long... Flamenco and sevillana (ferias dance, often practiced in bars with several people) have always been their passion, guitarist André Charbonneau and dancer Martine Casano have given birth to this dance school whose classes take place on average twice a week, in the district of rue Saint-Jacques as well as in Avrillé. Thanks to these two great professionals, you will quickly learn to clap your hands, feet, bend and wave to the sound of this strange and wonderful heritage of ancient Spain. Accessible to all, from age 8 upwards, young and old alike can enjoy rollerblading, BMX, scootering and, of course, skateboarding.

Close to the city center, this area was developed by the city on former flood meadows in 1978. A beautiful park and an immense stretch of water in the heart of the city, where you can cool off in the summer with a swimming area, picnic, run, sail or canoe. The banks are ideal for wildlife observation. You'll also find a 4-star campsite, the Maison de l'Environnement and the nautical center.

The Angers Nautique Aviron club has been an institution for over 30 years! Founded in 1893, the club's leisure rowing section offers rowers of all ages and abilities the opportunity to practice rowing under the guidance of coaches and volunteers.
