For 36 years now, La Luciole, with its splendid sculpted façade, has been shining its light in the foggy darkness of children's publishing! Every year, a plethora of children's books and novels come out! The books, classified by age (from toddlers to teenagers) or by theme, are also accompanied by a wide range of board games, wooden games, construction sets, puzzles, cuddly toys, as well as decorative objects for the little ones' bedrooms: mobiles, pictures... A real return to childhood!

In this vast boutique, completely refurbished last year, a clientele of enthusiasts comes to find what they're looking for: manga by the thousands of course (nearly 10,000 references!), but also a few copies of Japanese literature or books associated with Japanese culture. There's also a section devoted entirely to the world of the famous studios Ghibli, and a second boutique on rue Chaperonnière, also stocking manga as well as a wide range of related products (posters, t-shirts, figurines, etc.)

MICHEL DUTRU BOUQUINISTE

Bookshop

Des that these Dutru, great lovers of the book before the eternal. In their shop there is a sense of time. The facility does not pay a mine, and it's a little delivered to itself. There is a little of course: a low-cost pocket book to satisfy its reading soifs at lower cost, nostalgic COMIC, works on Anjou (its kitchen, popular songs, famous women…) but also the beautiful book, the binding of art, binding which Mrs Dutru is very much to restore in the rules of art. The beautiful district of Doutre and this charming street offer an ideal setting for those lovers of beautiful pages.

ART ET BANDES DESSINÉES

Comic book store

This is the kind of second-hand store we love, where you have to earn your way to a rare pearl, and where it's good to poke around for a long time while chatting with Bertrand, the owner. If you don't really know what you're looking for, you can rely on this passionate man to advise you and guide you through his cheerful jumble of thousands of books in all styles, which is much more organized than it might seem at first glance. Gibrat, Hergé, Cauvin, Manara, Uderzo... Here, the big names in comics (as well as the more obscure ones) can be found at more than reasonable prices, 6 or 7 euros for current editions, and the likelihood of leaving empty-handed is pretty slim!
