Read moreNo matter how much money you want to invest in your interior makeover and the spaces involved, a visit to Espace Samo is a must! You will discover one of the most beautiful showrooms in the region dedicated to interior design, from bathrooms to kitchens, offices, dressing rooms, storage spaces, laundry rooms, etc. Since 1975, people have come here for the seriousness, experience and inventiveness of a team. These professionals are committed to making kitchens and bathrooms as functional as they are beautiful.
COMPTOIR DES LUSTRES
Read moreWhether you are special or professional, the Comptoir des Chandtres is a reference point for everything that touches the whole house and garden. Located in front of bowling, it offers a wide range of products. While the references are mostly contemporary in style, there are also nineteenth-style chandeliers, bedside lamps and classic fixtures. A choice of abats makes it possible to change the atmosphere in a turn. LED light lights are privileged, more economical and especially ecological. Sellers are quite accessible, but the quality of hospitality is uneven. The diversity of supply does not always justify the rather high or even very high tariffs… It is also regrettable that only the ground floor offers proper disabled access. There are the possibilities of home delivery and assembly offered by the store, smaller ones who can make a difference.
LA CHAISE DE BOIS
Read moreThis store, located in a 1,000m2 warehouse dedicated to furniture, has been in existence in Angers since 1974. A fine example of longevity! The space offers customers a wide choice. New models rub shoulders with second-hand items, since many come from private individuals or from repositories (in-home appraisals, furniture repossessions throughout the Grand Ouest region). Chairs, tables, sideboards, chests of drawers, bedside tables, wardrobes and armchairs come in all styles. You'll find bargains, original pieces, invaluable advice and addresses of craftsmen to repair or patinate tired surfaces.
LA MAISON DES ARTISANS
Read moreBuilt in the 15th century, Adam's house, which takes its name from the statues of Adam and Eve that were once on the facade, is one of the most beautiful wood panelled houses in France. Today it houses an atypical shop on three levels, with works by more than 80 artists: globes, ceramics, compasses, watches... it is difficult to choose! You will also find tapestries, copies of famous paintings and several originals by Maricke. In the basement, the blown glass and cut crystal creations will leave you in awe.
LA CAVERNE DES PARTICULIERS
Read moreWith a dozen warehouses spread throughout France, the Caverne des Particuliers develops a concept of deposit-sale where the useful, the new or the rare meet the futile, the unusual or the kitsch... Here is a place where you can buy a chair to repair, an Indonesian library, a horn, a sculpture of a saint from a church, a pool table, a washing machine, a saxophone, a DVD of La Grande vadrouille or an old radio set... In short, it could not be more eclectic! And yet, it may be a cave, but it's not Ali Baba's, and if you have a specific idea in mind, not sure you'll find it right away, but the daily arrivals make us come back often. Good deals are really possible on treasures from the attic and on a few shelves of new unsold products. In permanent connection with the dimensions of the objects, the boss knows perfectly the value of the goods and under the guise of teddy bears, we are dealing here with a character of extreme finesse! Finally, if you are not a customer but a reseller, the deposit of objects is free, but the removal of your furniture, after estimation, is not free (all services are for money!). You can then choose the deposit-sale option or the immediate cash redemption, after testing your items if necessary. Good plan: surf from home, the store's stock being available on the Internet.
ATELIER BARUCCO
Read moreAtelier Barucco is maintained by Caroline Chupin, a woman whose specialty is the restoration of paintings, except frames and gilded. From the simplest to the most complicated, this craftsman examines the canvases and the diagnostics, because a canvas always has its own particularities. It has a multitude of strings to its arc: cleaning, repair repairs, dévernissage, conservation, refixage, rentoilage, consolidation, painted elimination… Quotes are made after thorough and thorough review of the piece to renovate. The address of Angers is mainly a meeting point with customers, and the real workshop is located in Montjean sur Loire. It is therefore preferable to call beforehand since no mail or Internet site is available. We work here with nostalgia and it respects itself.
