Built in 1650 of the time of Estrée Abbot (entered at the Académie française in 1656), this magnificent portal is the only vestige of Vertou Abbey which housed the monks community founded by Saint Martin de Vertou, disappeared today. Restored in 1981, it is now classified in the inventory of Historical Monuments.
