For more than 30 years, Roussilhe has been dedicated to the creation and manufacture of eyewear. To this end, he combines his craftsmanship with the choice of the best raw materials and the performance of the best technologies, particularly in the field of numerical controls. History. Roussilhe's history begins 35 years ago when Michel Roussilhe, its eponymous founder, created a small company manufacturing glasses. From its origins, Roussilhe has kept its family and friendly spirit and its SME structure. But today, it has evolved considerably to become one of the major players in the French manufacture of acetate glasses thanks to Maxime Rolandeau and Ludovic Brochard, who have been at the helm of the company for 10 years now.
The products. The Roussilhe eyewear collection offers a wide choice of timeless frames, whose shapes have been specially designed to accommodate progressive lenses. The masculine and feminine lines, made up of models in metal, titanium and acetate, offer glasses with classic shapes enhanced by original details, subtle branch work or interesting material combinations. In addition, Roussilhe offers solar clips to simply place on his glasses.
Employment. 100,000 eyeglasses are produced each year thanks to forty employees at the Nantes and Oyonnax sites. This represents a turnover of €6 million.
