ATELIER FAB CERAMIQUE

Pottery Ceramics

Fabienne Labeyrie was a designer in the textile world. Passionate about ceramics, she offers modeling and throwing classes, as well as classes for parents and children (from 5 to 12 years old). Her favorite material? Stoneware, a very resistant ceramic material. Useful and decorative ceramics. Having at heart to highlight her work and her passion, she exhibits at the ceramic market in Nantes in May, at the Shop bolobolo in the heart of Nantes (rue Armand-Brossard) always during the month of lily of the valley and in duo with the workshop Shibumi held by Caroline, an artisan also passionate about ceramics, located in La Regrippière. We find her in Vannes in July at the CrealOuest creators' market.

LA CITÉ DU GOÛT ET DES SAVEURS

Cooking courses

The Chamber of Trades and Crafts is a key player in the Department and the Region in terms of training and support for the food industry. Previously reserved for professionals in training, the two CIFAM sites (Nantes and Saint-Nazaire) are opening their doors to the general public and to companies through the Cité du goût et des saveurs. The idea is to let all interested parties, whether professionals or individuals, discover the secrets and know-how of the great chefs of the Western region. To name but a few, Nicolas Guiet (U.NI, Nantes), Sébastien Thébaud (Villa Belle Rive, Sainte-Luce), Loïc Pérou (le Manoir de la Régate) and Franck Deperiers, Meilleur Ouvrier de France and his Petite Boulangerie (Nantes) have already been involved as trainers... The themes are as poetic as they are diverse: let's rediscover offal in all its originality, macaroons from the smallest to the largest, amuse-bouches with Georgian flavours, the creative vegetable burger, aperitif bites for your parties... Different formulas are possible: personalized group workshops, ideal for customer gifts or to reinforce the cohesion of the collaborators, the "culinary workshop" gift voucher, and of course the individual registration.

LE BUS DÉ'TOURNÉ

Board games

A concept that is, to say the least, incongruous: to install a nomadic game bar in a real English bus! Anaïs and Clément started the tour of the Bus Dé'tourné in July 2021, an old bus from across the Channel that they have renovated and that travels from the Nantes region. On board, no less than 150 board games are available: a great way to spend a fun evening with friends, family and colleagues! You can accompany your drink with a sandwich, an appetizer, a dessert, all made 100% home-made with local seasonal products. Le Pellerin, Bouguenais, Rezé, La Montagne, Couëron: you can watch out for its stops during the week and go and enjoy the Bus!

ÉLÉ CAFÉS DE SPÉCIALITÉ

Hobbies and other leisure activities

Élé is the tasty, coffee-flavored project of Estelle Léon, coffee roaster and enologist. In her artisanal roasting workshop, Estelle, who was trained by Gloria Monténégro, the founder of the Academy of Cafeology, offers us exceptional coffees. Élé's demanding selection values the taste and the work of the producers with micro-lots and limited editions of pure origins. You can discover the full-bodied and persistent Guatemalan vintages or the mineral and acidic aromas of El Salvador and many others such as El Carmelo from Colombia or the sweet Klem Pica Pau from Brazil, or the succulent, proud and aromatic highland coffees from Ethiopia such as the Guji Natural, complex with its tropical fruit flavors. Élé also offers a wide range of equipment and accessories to prepare, preserve and enjoy your coffee: the Gem's, the aeropress, the Skerton coffee grinder... Finally, Élé offers workshops that respect the seasonality of coffee with its four menus (spring, summer, fall, winter) and its two workshops: the first tasting "Discovering gentle methods" to discover the different techniques (aeropress, drip...) and the history of coffee, and the second workshop "The nose of coffee and cupping" which is an introduction to aromas and coffee extraction. Not forgetting the discovery of cane sugar in the form of fruit pastes (Bocadillo) or plain or passion fruit sugar (Maracuja).
