Three kilometres west of the village of Saint-Géréon, you will find the site of Pierre Meslière. Classified as prehistoric station due to the many stones found there, the site used to serve to empierrer the roads and manufacture the grinding. This is where the names of the Stones Meulières, which will become over time Stones Meslières. The site was discovered in 1877 by Viscount Pitre de Lisle du Dreneux (1846-1927), one of the first invaders in the department.
