Ô BOCAL ÉPICERIE
Located in the city centre of Nantes, the shop took its place in 2020 in this new location dedicated to groceries, with the drugstore section remaining in the original shop on rue de l'Hôtel de Ville. As its name suggests, Ô Bocal is all about jars. Jars that are brought in empty and filled on the spot with organic food (flour, sugar, rice, pasta, seeds, pulses, biscuits, dried fruit, aperitif mixes...). Take care to weigh them beforehand so that you only pay for their contents. Glass bottles (for liquid products) and tote bags (cloth bags) are also allowed. You can also find fruits, vegetables and cheese from local producers. At the head of Ô Bocal is Johanna and her team, who are convinced that packaging-free grocery stores are the future. We like the concept, the sober decoration and the jars made from recycled products which are available free of charge if you come empty-handed. We love the bulk bags stamped Ô Bocal. We love the regular organization of workshops to exchange tips and tricks and learn how to do it yourself to consume responsibly and move towards zero waste
