This entity includes the Nantes metropolitan area, i.e. Nantes and the 24 surrounding municipalities, i.e. more than 656,000 inhabitants, natural, agricultural and urban areas. It manages, among other things, transport, waste and urban development. Thus, the new MIN transferred to Rezé saw the light of day in February 2019 and the new Nantes train station in November 2020. By 2025, it is the University Hospital on the island of Nantes that will impact the heart of the city. We should also mention the 8 Chronobus lines and the Maison de l'Emploi, which provides useful services for job seekers and business creators. Also noteworthy is the web platform dedicated to businesses in partnership with the CCI.
