The Regional Council has 93 elected members, headed by Christelle Morançais since October 2017. The Pays de la Loire administration, made up of more than 3,000 agents, is at the service of the daily life of the people of the Loire: transport, education, training, apprenticeship, social integration, economic development, regional planning, culture, research, innovation, guidance, employment, high schools, territorial balance, management of European funds, energy and the environment, sport and heritage.
