This is the kind of address that we recommend to our friends. A place without fuss, without pretension, well hidden in Sorinières, but in the immediate vicinity of Rezé and Vertou. And above all, a real good plan for the followers of the short circuits. Jean-Yves and Antoine Guitteny are market gardeners; an activity that has been passed down from father to son for over 50 years in their family. In a shed installed at the entrance of their farm, helped by Nicolas, they offer their vegetables and fresh fruit for direct sale. Depending on the season: potatoes, leeks, carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, courgettes, as well as strawberries, rhubarb, watermelons, raspberries, melons... The site looks like a mini-market because, depending on the day, other local producers come to offer their products: beef, veal, poultry, pancakes and cakes, fish and seafood... All you have to do is bring your basket and, just like at the market, indicate what you want before going to the checkout. You can also buy eggs and children can watch the chickens next door.
