Olivier Grimault (OG) and his team have set up store here, a little way from the town center of Les Sorinières in the South of France. What a sublime surprise to discover his creations of pure cocoa butter chocolate bonbons. With recipes as original as they are affordable. The boxed chocolates (platters) catch our eye, with their varied assortments and timeless, original flavors. We're talking about chocolates filled with refined ganaches, classic pralines and puff pastries, intense dark chocolates, varieties with a wide range of spices (pepper, vanilla) or refined flavors (tonka bean, lime, blackcurrant...). Everything is sublimated and blends well once transformed, accommodated in the hands of the master craftsman. Chocolates that invite us to travel, between Tanzania, Venezuela, Vietnam, Ghana, Papua New Guinea, Grenada... Taste the Maen Hir specialty, a unique blend of 72% cocoa beans (Santo Domingo and Mexico), or the Pavé Sorinierois, a box of small chocolates with flaky praline and caramelized almonds with fleur de sel. Indulge yourself with mendiants, grignotines, Croq'télé or Crousty pop's. Olivier Grimault makes us melt with pleasure with homemade confectionery, handcrafted fruit jellies, marshmallows and other names that make young and old alike dream of indulgence. The spreads here are called Goûter de Paco with milk and hazelnuts - a must! or the "puff pastry" version, or "caramel with fleur de sel", or the new "cocoa bean slivers". And don't forget to try Tatie Thalie's delicious sweetness.... Have you tried the new Sorinierois chocolate fondant? Divine dark chocolate to share and make people happy! Add to this the talents of chocolate sculptors and chocolate courses, the super-reasonable prices, the warm welcome and the free parking, and you'll know why this place is well worth a visit! Speaking of ice creams, here they're 100% artisanal and to die for! Chocolate mint, vanilla... Fruity verrines are original desserts to treat yourself to! In 2025, Olivier celebrates its 10th anniversary. We're taking advantage of the occasion to discover the "invitation au voyage" box (grands crus and origins), as well as the Sorinierois pavés (crispy praline with fleur de sel) and the "origins" boxes.
